Barleygreen Herb Dressing

Barleygreen contains a balance of many vitamins and minerals. Barleygreen contains 13 times as much carotene as that of carrots. Barleygreen has 50 times as much Vitamin C as that of apples. Barleygreen has 5 times as much iron as that of spinach. Try Barleygreen in your favorite salad dressing and enjoy!

  • 1 tablespoon Barleygreen
  • 2 cups chopped mixed greens (such as dandelion leaves, romaine lettuce, chicory or watercress)
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon each of thyme, basil, marjoram and tarragon
  • 1 teaspoon tamari
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced.

Blend all ingredients, except the avocado. Add the avocado and blend well. Put the mixture into a bowl and allow it to ferment for a few hours, according to your taste.
